I was the first person to use this technique and over the last decade have perfected both the technique and the tools to do it. Get the right Dampeners the first time, and save yourself the hassle.

Many people supply dampeners that are all the same size, same material and simply not right for the job. The selection must allow you to create the correct spacing of the bump key in the lock you need for successful bumping.

Additionally, without the shoulder removed, the bump key soon starts cutting into the 'incorrect' dampener, which then changes the depth of your key.  Because we invented this technique, we went thought literally hundreds of different products, shapes, sizes and materials, and what you get in this set is all that hard work done for you.

WARNING: I beg you not to buy the little - usually orange - rings often sold as Dampeners. or 'lock bumping rings'. These are actually for castrating cattle. They tear easily, usually after a few bumps, and you can't do some of the best Dampener technique with them. Also, being all the same size, you are limited in how you can space the key so that all the peaks of your bump key are set where they should be, in front of the key pins. Our Dampeners come in three widths, so you'll likely find a combination that sets your key perfectly for effective bumping.
